For a completely lint-free experience, consider Perfection or Elite threads; both are continuous filament polyester threads that produce no lint. You can absolutely use QuiltMaker thread on your home sewing machine for decorative quilting and topstitching. Use a Topstitch #90/14 needle and adjust your top tension if needed (you may need to loosen it slightly from your standard setting). QuiltMaker is available on large 6,000-yard cones and will work great on a home machine if you use a thread stand.
