Topstitch Needles are the perfect choice for quilters and sewists who want fewer thread breaks and value long-lasting products (don’t we all?). Five individual needles per pack, they are specially designed to provide an excellent stitching experience, thanks to the unique benefits of an extremely thin coating of titanium nitride and the bonus thread-protective properties of the needle design.
The titanium nitride coating is less than 5 microns thick and adds no bulk to the needle. To put this into perspective, the average human hair is 70 microns thick. It is a tough ceramic material that provides magnificent durability and wear resistance, protecting the point of your needle and keeping it sharper for longer. A needle with this coating has an abrasion and wear resistance over twice as much as chromium-plated needles and four times as much as standard nickel-plated needles. Our topstitch needles will last over five times longer than standard nickel-plated needles – it’s the best bang for your buck!
Topstitch needles have a deeper groove in the shaft and a much larger eye that provides more room for the thread as it rests against the needle, resulting in less friction and fewer thread breaks. These valuable features mean you can say goodbye to rethreading your machine due to thread breaks at the needle. You can stitch with delicate and decorative threads, like invisible, metallic, and silk threads, without worrying about the thread shredding at the needle. The rounded sharp point won’t tear holes in knit or woven fabrics. Don’t settle for regular needles. Stitch with the best – Topstitch Needles.

Our Quilting Threads
If you are going to appliqué, piece, or quilt, our selection of cotton and polyester quilting threads is an absolute joy to stitch with.
Our cotton threads are made from extra-long staple Egyptian cotton, known for its extremely low lint and high strength. We mercerize and gass our threads for increased luster and presence.
Our polyester threads are smooth and lint-free. They range from blenders to bold colors and from very fine (thin) to heavy (thick), providing excellent choices for all quilting applications and techniques on your home sewing and longarm machines.
