Majestic Set - Summer

Majestic is our40 wt. thread made from Giza-class 100% Egyptian-grown extra-long staple cotton, which means it's bold enough to show beautifully in your quilting designs while staying smooth and low-lint. Forty-weight threads are heavy (thick) enough to create visible, textured stitches that add dimension to your quilts without overpowering the fabric. Extra-long staple cotton fibers produce a strong, smooth thread that resists breakage even under the demands of high-speed longarm quilting or free-motion work on home machines. Majestic is available in 45 variegated colorways and five solid colors, giving you creative freedom to match or contrast your fabric choices. Quilters love Majestic for edge-to-edge designs, feathers, swirls, and decorative fills where they want their stitching to be part of the quilt's visual story.

Majestic works beautifully on both home sewing machines and longarm machines. For home machine use, we recommend a Topstitch #90/14 needle. We encourage you to make tension adjustments as needed to dial in balanced, even stitches. Many quilters keep both variegated and solid Majestic on hand: variegated for creative, eye-catching quilting where the thread becomes part of the design, and solids for traditional quilting where consistency is key. Both versions are the same premium 40 wt. Giza class 100% Egyptian-grown extra-long staple cotton, so performance and quality are identical across colors.

Precision 60 wt. polyester is the ideal bobbin thread for Majestic. The fine weight stays hidden on the quilt back, letting your colorful Majestic variegated thread shine on top. Precision is lint-free, which helps offset any minimal lint from the cotton top thread and keeps your machine cleaner. If you want cotton throughout your quilt, use Dream Seam 50 wt. or Soft Touch in the bobbin. For longarm machines, M-style Precision prewound bobbins provide consistent tension and hold more thread than self-wound bobbins, reducing interruptions during customer quilts.
