Delivery and Shipping
Orders received before 2:00 pm MT are typically shipped same day. All orders ship from our St. George, Utah warehouse.
Invisible Thread Poly is a very fine polyester monofilament thread designed for applications where you want your stitching to blend in. It’s ideal for stitch-in-the-ditch, machine appliqué, free-motion quilting, echo quilting, and any technique where the focus should stay on the fabric and design, not the thread.
Its matte finish minimizes shine, allowing it to disappear into a wide range of fabric colors and textures. The smooth surface and high heat resistance of polyester make it excel with both home and longarm machines, even during extended stitching sessions or ironing.
Invisible Thread Poly is slightly heavier than Wonder Invisible Nylon and, as such, has improved abrasion resistance and strength, helping to reduce thread breaks while working with layers, curves, or detailed quilting.
Recommendations for Best Use:
- Loosen top tension to 1.0-2.0 to prevent breakage
- Use a #70/10 Topstitch needle for home machines
- Use a #14 (3.0) needle for longarm quilting
- Pair with Precision in the bobbin for optimal stitch quality
Available in 1,500 yard spools and 7,500 yard cones.
Invisible Thread Poly is a versatile choice for quilters and sewists, especially when the thread isn't meant to be seen.

Don't Forget Your Needles
If you are going to stitch Invisible Thread on your home sewing machine, don't forget to add a pack of our titanium-coated Topstitch Needles to your order. Our needles last up to five times longer than standard sewing machine needles.
Topstitch needles also have a large eye, deep groove, and rounded sharp point-- say goodbye to interruptions caused by thread breakage! (Think of all the time you will save by not having to rethread your machine. 😁)
