We can wind more 2-ply Dream Seam on the bobbin, where tensile strength is not critical as a top thread. For best results with Dream Seam 50 wt. thread, use a Topstitch #80/12 needle. The Topstitch needle style has a larger eye and a deeper groove than a Universal needle, which protects the thread from excessive friction and helps prevent breakage and skipped stitches. Dream Seam prewound bobbins are available in Class 15 (fits most home machines) and hold significantly more thread than self-wound bobbins, so you'll spend less time changing bobbins and more time quilting.
